18 Mar Chryston High School Eco House Competition
Chryston High School runs an Eco-house competition every year for their second year students. This project crosses science and technology parts of the curriculum. John Gilbert Architects had been invited to judge the awards for the last three years. We also offer a one-week work experience placements to older students of Chryston High School.
The standard competition entries improves each year, demonstrating a high degree of thought, innovation and construction. This year’s winners showed a range of architectural styles while integrating the latest thinking on low-energy, healthy homes.
