Glasgow City Council are marketing six serviced plots for self builders on Bantaskin Street adjacent to the Forth and Clyde Canal Locks in the West End of Glasgow. John Gilbert Architects were appointed by a private client to prepare proposals for a family home on plot 1. The proposals included a large open plan living area with separate private living area at first floor, along with 3 large bedrooms. Master bedroom opened onto a large private terrace and the house featured large windows overlooking a large private garden, designed by a landscape architect. Unfortunately the clients pulled out of the self-build project following planning application submission.
