Scotland’s Housing Expo

Two semi-detached houses for Scotland’s Housing Expo constructed with cross-laminated timber and clad in corrugated aluminium to evoke traditional Highland design. Timber consumes carbon and has the ability to retain heat, which reduces temperature swings. It also reduces sound transmission between floors. The vented aluminium cladding reflects sun, keeping the building cooler in summer.
