Refurbishment of this Category A-listed synagogue within Glasgow City Centre conservation area to provide new exhibition, research and archive space. The project also includes high quality conference space, improved circulation and access throughout the building with funding from Heritage Lottery Fund, the German Consulate and local charitable trusts. The heritage centre is now able to take on an expansive collection of Holocaust-era records, provide research access and curate new exhibitions relating to this time. Improved facilities for staff and the congregation are included as well as repairs to the building fabric.
