John Gilbert Architects in team for Johnstone & Elderslie Vision & Masterplan
John Gilbert Architects will be part of the team producing a vision and masterplan for the centres of Renfrewshire town of Johnstone and the adjacent village of Elderslie.

The project will be led by planning consultants Douglas Wheeler Associates and we will be working with street design specialists Hamilton Baillie, economic consultants Riddell Thoms and quantity surveyors Towler & Hyslop.
The study has been commissioned by Renfrewshire Council as part if its £92million investment programme for leisure, schools, community facilities and town centre regeneration.
"We've always made clear that the regeneration of the centres of Johstone and Elderslie is a key element of our community investment programme," said Councillor Iain Nicolson, Convener of Renfrewshire Council's Planning and Economic Development Policy Board, "Our intention with this study is to gather the views of residents, businesses and community organisations on practical and sustainable proposals for the future of Johnstone and Elderslie."
The study will take 20 weeks.
