Ten affordable Passivhaus homes as an exemplar for co-operative self building and ecological design. These terraced homes are Scotland’s largest newbuild Passivhaus development and it is estimated that they will use 90% less energy than standard housing, reducing fuel poverty for residents. Residents have been fully involved in the design process and will work on site with the contractor. The project is expected to be completed within Scottish Government newbuild cost limits, making it ideal for replicating elsewhere.
