Working closely with the local community, we designed the first Scottish community building for charity group Emmaus. The building has 24 bedsits and supporting facilities for homeless people, including workshop, cafe and wardens accommodation. The 1960s church hall previously on the site was renovated to create the workshop and we utilised waste woodchip from the workshop to fuel a biomass boiler.
